My name is Xu-Yuan (许远), roughly pronounced as [Shoo-ywen] in Mandarin, and [Hui-ywun] in Cantonese. I am currently a master’s student at University of Zurich, being advised by Prof. Anna Beliakova, and Dr. Luke Conners. Before that, I obtained my degree in Bachelor of Science in 2024 at Xi’an Jiaotong University, advised by Prof. Dr. Qiang Zhang.
My research interest lies in link homologies and low-dimensional topology. I speak Mandarin (native), English (fluent), and Cantonese (native).
